Parent/Player Code of Conduct and Expectations
CBA Baseball | Home |
- Congratulations, your son has been selected as a member of CBA Baseball Organization (CBA) – it’s expected that each family acts with pride, respect and upmost character as you are representing CBA.
- Our focus is on development (reason why we train year-round) and with that said our teams are performance based. Playing time will be earned based on attitude, hustle, listening skills, sportsmanship, work ethic, and performance on the field.
- You agree to support each of the players on this team and will NOT create a divide by making negative comments to one another or to others. Disciplinary actions will be enforced up to potential dismissal from the team. (both parents/player). You agree NOT to discuss other players with the coaching staff.
- Each team has their own GroupMe – this will serve as the official form of communication from coaches to the families. Please make a habit to review on a daily basis and try to avoid using GroupMe as a thread to go back and forth – instead send private messages otherwise our messages get lost in the thread. There is a Master GroupMe that you should request access to if you are not a member.
- No player will play in a game until the player fee is paid in full by the specified dates. You agree to adhere to all payment schedules – no exceptions.
- If a player throws any equipment they will be removed from the game. If there is a second offense by same player the coaches will discuss next steps including a suspension or potential dismal from the team.
- You agree to respect the umpires and will NOT yell or argue with umpires. Disciplinary actions will be enforced up to potential dismissal from the team. (both parents/player).
- You agree that once your son enters the dugout area, he becomes 100% accountable to the coaching staff. Parents are NOT allowed in or around the dugout. Disciplinary actions will be enforced up to potential dismal from the team. Players are NOT allowed to wear flip flops, crocs, sandals or other similar items to the field.
- There are NO refunds of player fee or college camp fees for any circumstance to – no exceptions. This includes injury, voluntary or involuntary dismissal or any other reason.
- If your son is NOT in full uniform, he will NOT be allowed to participate. Each player MUST have a CBA glossy helmet and CBA gear bag.
